Children and Education was founded by Early Childhood Educator Berenice Choong. She believes that children are like little seeds that need a nurturing environment where they can thrive and flourish. When children experience the world as a positive place to be in, they will grow to become brilliant people in life. This website offers advice and resources to parents, educators and other caregivers. Adults will be able understand more about their child's development and how to take good care of them.

Autism is a complex disorder whereby the brain is developed differently from others. There are varying degrees of Autism. Therefore, every child with autism is different but they usually face challenges in interaction and communication with others. There are three different categories in the Autism Spectrum Disorder namely "Classic" Autism, Asperger's and Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the commonly diagnosed mental disorder that is characterized by children's behavior of inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness of varying degrees. It’s more common in boys than in girls. It’s usually discovered during the early school years, when a child begins to have trouble paying attention in class. Some may have mainly inattentive, hyperactive or impulsive symptoms while others have a combination of these behaviors.
